Improve long-chat rendering and sidebar stability, update vulnerable dependencies, and add npm-verified documentation and GitHub release artifacts.

Added

  • Website: add latest-release Docs and historical Changelog pages with bilingual Docs/文档 and Changelog/更新日志 navigation beside the left-aligned brand. Generate documentation and notes during release preparation, reject stale snapshots, and expose website content only after npm confirms publication. Keep only the newest published documentation with no version selector or page-wide code-copy control. Keep the documentation search focus outline inside the navigation scroll area without clipping. Switch Home, Docs, Changelog, documentation articles and full release notes without reloading the page, retaining navigation and visible content during loading and supporting browser history.

  • Local development: add pnpm run sync to install workspace dependencies with a frozen lockfile, failing when the lockfile is missing or inconsistent with package manifests.

  • Repository maintenance: configure Renovate with dependency updates at any time, separate development and selected runtime dependency PRs, dashboard approval for ordinary major upgrades, and weekly lockfile maintenance in Asia/Shanghai. Refresh Renovate branches when they fall behind the base branch. Keep security fixes independent of ordinary approval gates, use Conventional Commit titles, and require manual merging.

  • Distribution: create a GitHub Release after publishing @loop-harness/loop to npm, with version-specific changelog notes, the verified npm tarball and checksums. Name application releases Loop vX.Y.Z — CLI, SDK & Web and voice releases Loop Voice vX.Y.Z — Local speech engine & models.

Changed

  • Website: lead Capabilities with phone continuation and local voice, using concise bilingual copy with device revocation and remote-audio privacy notes. Refresh Chinese/English previews in native light/dark themes, show desktop and phone continuity, active voice input with queued messages, and in-chat model selection. Standardize preview layout, remove capture artifacts and keep the CLI launch command on one line. Add a circular GitHub repository link beside the header language switch with localized accessible labels and tooltips.

  • Voice resources: advance the supported release to 1.0.1 and require a new semantic version for each public resource release. Reject tag/version mismatches and attempts to overwrite public assets; allow recovery only for drafts from the same source commit.

Fixed

  • Website: restore the missing Loop sidebar icon in all Chinese/English and Light/Dark homepage product captures, preserving the rest of each image.

  • Web UI: reduce long-session rendering with a variable-height windowed list that mounts only nearby message and tool rows, uses aggregate height spacers and preserves history anchors while retaining disclosure choices, indexing timeline metadata, reusing unchanged tool state, batching streaming draft commits per paint and paging event snapshots before copying or buffering them. Preserve history anchors, final results and synchronous tool-start feedback. Measure mounted rows before paint, bind scrolling after parent viewport refs are ready and reconcile programmatic jumps so long replies and message ranges do not disappear into empty spacers.

  • Dependencies: resolve known vulnerabilities in runtime transitive dependencies and the Vitest mocker by updating compatible locked versions and both Vitest declarations. Restrict Undici and Zod overrides to affected version ranges, and use the application's patched KaTeX version for Mermaid's otherwise vulnerable nested dependency.

  • Distribution: exclude voice resource tags from application release triggers and remove GitHub Packages publication; GitHub Release creation now waits only for npm publication. Resolve release snapshot imports under native Node.js so metadata validation can run before dependencies are installed.

  • Licensing: restore the complete standard MIT text in LICENSE and move the license scope notice to README with corrected brand-policy and font-license links, preserving the separate artwork and font terms.

  • Web UI: preserve child project expansion and revealed chat counts across parent accordion toggles. Keep stacked sidebar headings and the scroll position stable when collapsing content, rather than revealing earlier Pinned and Chats lists.

  • Web UI: label project-list pagination as Show more projects so it remains distinct from the last project's Show more chats action when both appear together.

  • Web UI: use compact 4px spacing above Pinned, Chats and Projects headings, including below New task, and keep it consistent when stacked during sidebar scrolling. Prevent accordion toggles from shifting the sidebar through scroll anchoring; section navigation preserves the same heading clearance. Place the Projects add action before its chevron and align all three section chevrons vertically. Section labels and chevrons reopen collapsed lists in place without scrolling. Expanded lists scroll to the first row, or collapse items immediately when the first list item is directly below its own heading, including before the heading sticks and with normal project-row margins.
